Babalwa 'Barbz' Mneno

Babalwa Mneno commonly known as Barbz is a South African model, events manager, hair salon boss and reality television personality who first rose to fame as the first runner-up in the 1996 Miss South Africa pageant, which was won by Peggy-Sue Khumalo.

Well known for her beauty pageant titles, Babalwa has modeled for SA Fashion Week, CPT Fashion Week and for a myriad of fashion shows from Nigeria, London, and Moscow to New Mexico. She is the former CEO of the Sundowns Chikitas.

Babalwa was one of the eight celebrities who danced in the SABC2 reality competition Strictly Come Dancing 2, in 2006. She and her professional dance partner Thabo Moloto were the first to be voted out.

She was a celebrity housemate on the seventh season of the DStv reality television series Big Brother Africa StarGame, in 2012.
